Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri
Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth coincided with the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, which later became celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti. This coincidence would prove significant in shaping Shastri’s life as he was deeply influenced by Gandhi’s principles of non-violence and civil disobedience. For celebrating this day and telling our children about these personalities, students of the Secondary Section, Std VI to X have conducted handwriting activity where we asked our students to bring information relating to this Day. As celebrating these two leaders’ birthdays is an opportunity to learn from their values, ethics and virtues.
