Field Trip – Bramhala Lake
Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & JR. College arranged a field trip for educating the students about water sources. We took them to Bramhala Lake, Manorpada, Thane. The aim of a field trip is usually observing and providing students with experiences outside their everyday activities. It is one of the best way to educate students. Going on field trips enhances their critical thinking skills and gives students a chance to think about a topic from different perspective. Here children get to interact with each other, visualise the environment and understand the importance of water. Lake is one of the sources of water. Water is the most essential part of life and is used for many purposes like drinking, cleaning, washing, etc. The Headmistress & all the other teachers explained the importance of water to them. Students saw water creatures like tortoise & different types of fishes. They enjoyed seeing the real water creatures, which made learning easy.
