Celebration of Krishna Janmashtami
To commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, every year in the month of August, Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated. The Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & JR. College celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and joy. Teachers explained the importance of this festival to the students. Students dressed up as Radha and Krishna .To recreate the joyous moment of breaking Dahi handi, a pyramid is formed. Through this pyramid formation , the value of unity is inculcated in the minds of the students. Children enjoyed the music, the dance, the pyramid formation & the spraying of water. They experienced the festive vibe perfectly. In the end fruits were distributed to all the students.
