Celebration of Guru Pournima
Guru Pournima is celebrated in the month of July to honour our Gurus (teachers) and seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The students of the Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & JR. College celebrated Guru Pournima to inculcate the values of respect and gratitude towards their Gurus. The students recited prayers and offered flowers to their teachers and Goddess Saraswati, making the celebration meaningful and memorable. As part of the celebration, the students also participated in a Lord Vitthal’s Flag Making Activity and an Applying Tilak Activity, which added a traditional and devotional touch to the occasion. The activities helped the children understand the significance of Guru Pournima while making the celebration joyful, engaging, and memorable.
