CELEBRATION OF CHILDREN’S DAY
School is a place where children engage in activities and learn from a syllabus designed for their progress. There is a special day to celebrate this – Children’s Day! 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day in remembrance of the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who loved children.
The Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & Jr. College, Thane, celebrated this day with students by decorating classrooms and corridors to warmly welcome them and shower them with confetti. The Headmistress and teachers danced and played games with the children, creating a joyful atmosphere. Teachers also shared information about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru with the students. Dressed like children, the teachers distributed paper fish toys and sweets, making the day even more special. The students truly enjoyed the celebration.
