Celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti
The name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is well known to everyone. He was the founder and creator of the Maratha Empire ‘Swarajya’ in India and a great king. He is also known as the “Father of the Indian Navy.” His birth anniversary is celebrated as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The students of the Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & JR. College celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The teachers narrated his glorious story and also showed it on TV. The purpose behind this was to inform the students about the great personality, Maharashtra was blessed with and to instill values in them inspired by him.
