Celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti
The name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is well known to everyone. He was the founder and creator of the Maratha Empire ‘Swarajya’ in India and a great king. To protect his kingdom from enemies,he won and built many forts.Hisbirth anniversary is celebrated as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The students of the Pre-Primary Section of SMM High School & JR. College celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti with great enthusiasm.To give them real life experience, we encouraged them to build a fort. The teachers narrated his glorious stories and also showed it on TV. The purpose behind this was to inform the students about the great personality, Maharashtra was blessed with and to instill values in them inspired by him.
