Celebration of Aashadhi Ekadashi
Aashadhi Ekadashi is celebrated in the month of June or July. On this
auspicious day, devotees observe a day-long fast and walk in large
processions to Pandharpur. They chant devotional hymns in praise of
Lord Vitthal throughout their journey. To give our students a practical
experience of this tradition, SMM High School & JR. College
organized a Dindi Yatra for the Pre-Primary students. The children
enthusiastically participated in the procession by chanting devotional
hymns dedicated to Lord Vitthal.
