SMM High School & Jr. College celebrated Sanskrit Day with great enthusiasm and joy under the
guidance of Principal Mr. Roshan Wagh Sir. The celebration was organised for the students of Std.
VIII to X, with the theme “Chanakya Niti”, highlighting the wisdom, values and teachings associated
with the great scholar and strategist Chanakya.
The programme was graced by the presence of School President Mr. Sudhakar More Sir and the
respected members of the Trust.
The students presented a variety of interesting and colourful activities. They performed skit , a
beautiful dance on Sanskrit songs and also presented melodious Sanskrit songs. A special ramp walk
showcasing renowned scholars from ancient times was organised, through which students
introduced the audience to their remarkable contributions.
Students also shared informative presentations about the Sanskrit language and Chanakya, creating
awareness about the richness of Sanskrit and the relevance of Chanakya's teachings in our lives even
today.The programme was made successful through the dedicated efforts of Sanskrit Teacher Miss
Arundhati Deshmukh, supported by Marathi Teacher Miss Deepa Patil. Their hard work and
encouragement inspired the students to participate enthusiastically.
