Storytelling Competition
Storytelling is a social and cultural activity of sharing stories with improvisation & theatrics.Storytelling increases children’s willingness to communicate thoughts and feelings. To build up confidence in the children to speak in front of a crowd a storytelling competition was organised for the students of the Pre-primary section of SMM High School & JR. College, Thane. Storytelling develops children’s imagination, stimulates curiosity amongst them and increases verbal proficiency. The teachers would like to express their sincere gratitude to the parents for the support and cooperation for the preparation of the storytelling competition. The hard work and dedication of students were evident in every performance. All participants were given snacks & the winners were honoured with prizes and certificates which encouraged the students.
